The Australian Dinosaur Trail connects the dinosaur triangle in the centre of outback Queensland. Visit Winton, Hughenden, and Richmond to take in a snapshot of Australia’s prehistoric history.
Winton’s two dinosaur attractions are the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum of Natural History, and the Dinosaur Stampede at Lark Quarry Conservation Park. Hughenden has their Flinders Discovery Centre, and Richmond the Kronosaurus Korner. Together they showcase the natural history of Queensland during the Age of Dinosaurs with fossilised footprints, dinosaur bones, shells, marine and flying reptile bones, and fossilised and petrified plant material. The Australian Dinosaur Trail Pass helps to save on ticket prices, but only if you’re doing all four attractions.
Allow at least four days to see everything that these fantastic fossil experiences have to offer. Tickets can be purchased from all four attractions, or online at australiandinosaurtrail.com.au or from www.australianageofdinosaurs.com. Dates and times are required upon booking.
