There are several tour companies that operate in and around Winton.

Two companies run tours from Winton:

  • Carisbrooke Tours,  which operates Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to Lark Quarry Dinosaur Trackways and the working Cattle and Sheep Station, Carisbrooke Station. Other days except Sundays are on request and subject to a minimum of four. These tours operate regularly April to September.
  • Matilda Country Tours, which operates daily half day tours to Lark Quarry Dinosaur Trackways, April to September (by arrangement rest of year, min. 4 persons).

Another regular tour operator into the region is Outback Aussie Tours, which operate tours, departing Longreach, taking in parts of the Winton Shire. Other companies operate from Brisbane and Sydney - please check at your nearest travel agent for details of these.
