The new library, opened in 2003, is ideally situated on Elderslie Street in the centre of town. The library has books to suit all ages and tastes. It has several computers for internet access as well as wireless internet access for those who have their own laptops. Photocopying, faxing, laminating and colour printing can all be done for you. There is a kids area for playing games or watching videos and plenty of comfortable seats for you to sit and relax or browse the extensive collection of magazines and periodicals.

Monday to Friday - 9.30am to 4.30pm
Saturday - 9.30am to 11.30am
Sunday - CLOSED

There is a handy book deposit drawer for the times when it is closed.
